The TWIST FIVE S HR V sports glasses by ALPINA are the slim version of the well-known TWIST FIVE range. Their self-tinting VARIOFLEX lenses adapt to the respective light situation. That way, you don’t have to change lenses when the sun suddenly shines. A FOGSTOP coating prevents the lenses from fogging up.

Technical details:

VARIOFLEX:
The self-tinting lenses react to UV light. When exposed to UV light radiation, chemical elements inside the lens open up and produce a darkening effect. Thus, the glasses adapt to prevailing light conditions within seconds.

FOGSTOP:
A coating applied to the inside of the lenses. It has a rough surface to make it impossible for moisture droplets to form a covering layer. Moisture can thus condense faster, which prevents the glasses from fogging up.

HYDROPHOBIC LENS:
The moisture-repellent nanostructure of the lenses lets water and dirt roll off.

2-COMP:
A hard frame combined with soft, rubber-coated temple ends and nose pads ensures a perfect fit of the glasses and particularly high comfort.

ADAPTABLE NOSEPAD:
Rubber-coated nose pads, which are formable when cold, too, and provide a slip-resistant, comfortable fit.

ADJUSTABLE INCLINATION:
Thanks to the adjustable temples, the glasses can be tilted towards the forehead. This reduces draft when riding downhill.

OPTIMIZED AIRFLOW:
A heavily curved lens and indirect air flow prevent fogging of the lenses.
