Biking, hiking or simply enjoying nature in any weather – you need the right clothes for that. Schöffel’s rain Jacket Gmund L made of VENTURI ripstop material is not only durable but also waterproof, thanks to a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm.
The material is also windproof and breathable. This allows the body heat to circulate perfectly and prevents unpleasant heat build-up in the jacket. The grown-on hood can be stowed away in the collar when it’s not raining. The individually adjustable arm cuffs and the two zipped outer pockets are also practical.

VENTURI:
The VENTURI by Schöffel membrane has a soft feel and lies between the outer and lining fabric. Depending on the model, a 2- or 3-layer laminate is processed and joined with different outer fabrics to match the intended use. The membrane is windproof, waterproof with a rating of at least 10,000 mm as well as breathable with at least 10,000 g /m²/24 h. The coarse and fine molecular bonds of the efficient laminate allow water vapour to escape easily, so that a pleasantly dry and moderate climate constantly prevails. What’s more, there are modifications of the VENTURI by Schöffel membrane that have been specially developed for different (weather) conditions.

WR PFC FREE:
PFC is a group of chemicals acting as intermediates, auxiliary materials or breakdown products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. They are used in garment production to impregnate clothing due to their durable water- and grease-repellent properties. However, PFC residues are non-biodegradable and may be harmful. The product’s water- and dirt-repellent WR finish (water repellent) is free of PFC and is thus environmentally-friendly.
